Prime Focus has delivered over 180 stunning VFX shots for Zack Snyder's latest fantasy film, 'Sucker Punch', for Warner Bros. Led by Senior VFX Supervisor Michael Fink, VFX Supervisor Bryan Hirota, DFX Supervisor Chad Wiebe and Producers Genevieve West, Korey Kauchon and Wendy Lanning, the Prime Focus team worked for over a year to ensure the shots were true to Zack's unique style and vision.

Aside from the opening sequences for the film, and Baby Doll's final adventure on a futuristic train, other key shots included a CG theatre proscenium that transitions into live action; a dramatic scene involving the camera traveling through a keyhole to arrive at a reflection in Baby Doll's eye; and an epic 3000 frame crane shot featuring the drive to Lennox House that includes a detailed CG environment, an "in-your-face" CG automobile, and careful integration between live action and CG.

The sequence garnering the most mention was the final, action-packed fantasy sequence which required the development of a CG helicopter and helipad, alien-like terrains, interior and exterior shots of a magnetic levitation train that gets destroyed in a dramatic style, hoards of armed robots, CG doubles for the three actors, and a futuristic metropolis called "Bunny City". This included a 2 ½ minute shot that used every available VFX trick, and required the animation and render of nearly 20 minutes of material so that Zack Snyder could "time warp" the material down to the 2 ½ minute final length.
