Lead FX TD

Prime Focus are currently seeking an experienced Lead FX TD to join our rapidly expanding feature film team.
Essential skills / experience:
- Substantial experience with fluid dynamics, particles, and natural phenomenon simulations
- Houdini and Maya
- Renderman
- Working knowledge of at least one compositing application: Nuke/Shake
- Proven ability in composition, colour, light and natural motion
- Ability to solve complex shot problems and oversee and guide team
- Scripting – Python and /or Mel scripting preferred
- Excellent knowledge of a VFX pipeline
Desirable skills / experience:
- Fur / hair / cloth simulation an advantage
- Coding skills – Maya API / Houdini HDK
- Experience with other renderers
- Shader writing experience an advantage
