Prime Focus World featured in Financial Times article

PFW's Matthew Bristowe has been interviewed by The Financial Times for an article entitled "London Reasserts its Film Post-Production Reputation".

In the article, written by Sharmila Devi, Matthew describes London as "one of the biggest centres, with about 3,000 people working in post-production special effects".

The article cites the "Harry Potter Effect" – the decision by Warner Brothers to use UK-based companies to create the VFX that helped to make the movie franchise a worldwide blockbuster - as the catalyst for the London VFX boom.

Adrian Wooten, Chief Executive of the BFI is also quoted in the article, saying "We now have the biggest concentration of VFX in the world with six of the eight top companies in this sector in London.” The article goes on to say that these companies include Framestore, Industrial Light & Magic, MPC, Double Negative, Cinesite, and Prime Focus World.
