Inc. India magazine has featured PFW Founder and CEO Namit Malhotra in their latest issue, in a feature titled 'How To Grow When Things Get Tough'. In the interview, Namit describes the Prime Focus journey from garage in Mumbai to Hollywood, including having to deal with events such as the 2007 Writers' Strike in the US and the effects of the downturn in the US economy following the collapse of Lehman Brothers in September 2008, and the difficulties of integrating seven separate companies under the Prime Focus banner.
Namit describes himself as a man who "lost it all" before building PFW back up to win work on one of the biggest films of all time - Avatar - and more recently on the Star Wars franchise and the nine-time Oscar winning Gravity. Never complacent, Namit says it is his immense ambition and his view of himself as the "underdog" that keep him going.
