The Premier of British Columbia, Christy Clark, visited Prime Focus World's Los Angeles facility yesterday during her visit to Hollywood. Namit Malhotra, CEO & Founder of Prime Focus World received Premier Clark and led her through a series of reels detailing Prime Focus' global and Vancouver-based work. As a supporter and unique-global entrepreneur, Namit was thrilled by the opportunity to discuss the city's position as "Hollywood of the North", the critical nature of the local tax incentives, and the importance of our Vancouver Office to Prime Focus World and the global filmmaking community as a whole. The conversation was lively, with Premier Clark discussing the importance of continuing to build a strong economic structure in Vancouver, as well as the parallel issues of talent access, immigration policy, and technological innovation. An intelligent and articulate leader, Ms. Clark also presented a heartfelt gratification for Vancouver's position as a leader in cultural diversity, a sentiment all in attendence appreciated and shared.
Overall the visit was a tremendous success and an honor for all of Prime Focus. We look forward to further discussions with the Premier, and collaborations with her and her administration to fulfill the ever-important goal of building sustainable, long-term economic policies for growth and overall prosperity.
