'Terminator: Genisys' Plot Details Unveiled

Details about Paramount's upcoming Terminator trilogy are beginning to come to light. Entertainment Weekly is running an exclusive article about the first film of the trilogy, Terminator: Genisys, in their Nov. 07th issue.

Terminator: Genisys will hit the big screen in 2015 with a new cast: Emilia Clark (Game of Thrones) will play Sarah Connor, and Jai Courtney (Divergent) plays the motorcycle riding Kyle Reese. The film also features Matt Smith, best known for his role as Doctor Who.

Set in 2029, the war between man and machine is already underway. John Connor sends Kyle Reese back 45 years to 1984 in an effort to prevent the Terminator from killing Sarah Connor. These detail are already familiar to Terminator fans, but Terminator: Genisys takes the story in a different direction.

This reboot will see Sarah Connor's parents killed by a Terminator when she was just a child, leaving young Sarah to be raised herself by a friendly T-800 Terminator, played once again by Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Terminator: Genisys is scheduled for released on July 1, 2015.
