The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Seth Rogan joked with a reporter this past week about the recent and mysterious mysterious weeks-long absence from the public by North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. When asked what he had done with Kim Jong Un, Rogan quipped that "It's all a marketing ploy. We've hid him somewhere, and he'll be released one week before the movie."
Rogan's upcoming action-comedy The Interview, stars James Franco as Dave Skylark, a popular celebrity tabloid TV show host, and Rogan as his producer Aaron Rapoport. When Dave and Arron discover that North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un is a fan of the show, they land an interview with him in an attempt to legitimize themselves as journalists. As Dave and Aaron prepare to travel to Pyongyang, their plans change when the CIA recruits them, perhaps the two least-qualified men imaginable, to assassinate Kim Jong Un. The Interview is scheduled to be released in theaters on Dec. 25th.
