WSJ and Digital Spy pick out Gravity as Film of the Year 2013

Wall Street Journal film critic Joe Morgenstern, and online opinion-former Digital Spy, have both chosen Gravity as their Film of the Year 2013. Citing the reasons they felt Gravity stood out from the competition, Digital Spy picked out the film's use of 3D, saying "Debris seemingly hurtled out of the screen, the camera dipped elegantly in and around space station corridors, and in the darkness of the movie theatre you felt like you were part of Stone's journey through the infinite. This is one of those rare times when you can walk out of the cinema and say, 'I'm glad I saw that in 3D'."
