Stereo / VFX Assets Coordinator


Job Description

Prime Focus World is looking for an assets coordinator to join the team in London. The asset coordinator will act as the primary liaison between the Production Studio / VFX client and internal departments to ensure effective delivery of essential assets required to deliver shows on time. 

The successful candidate will need to review the daily asset requests, check for accuracy and completeness, follow up with the client regarding discrepancies for clarification, and prepare the information for the internal teams. This position reports to the Stereo Producer and the successful candidate will work closely with Supervisors, artists and other member of the production team to produce the information necessary to maintain a smooth workflow between departments. 

Other duties involve the gathering and communicating of feedback, acting as the final checkpoint for all assets before requests or approvals go to client, being on-call to implement last minute changes to assets as required and ensuring that all asset schedules are aligned with the general show schedule provided by the producer. 



  • Clear and smooth communication with the client
  • Communication to all departments on the status of the assets
  • Schedule out and keep on track artists' work 
  • Coordinate asset deliveries to various locations
  • Update the database and communicate relevant changes to members of the team 
  • Ensure the database status and task assignments are kept up to date



Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience within the film and television industry, in VFX and CG animation 
  • Bachelor’s degree in film or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Conversant with visual effects techniques, terminology and processes
  • Highly motivated team player
  • Proven production and time management experience with the ability to problem solve effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office package (including Word, Excel)
  • Understanding of VFX / Stereo pipeline and asset management 
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication a MUST 
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize; must be able to meet tight deadlines for multiple projects 
  • Must be able to deliver high quality work consistently and on time 
  • Ability and desire to quickly learn new processes and applications 
  • Self-motivated with positive attitude 
  • Experience with FMP / Shotgun 
  • Attention to detail is a MUST, while also considering the big picture
