Lee Berger is a senior executive at Prime Focus World, based out of the company’s Hollywood headquarters. As Senior Vice President of Production, Lee works closely with the leadership teams of Prime Focus World and acclaimed VFX house Double Negative to develop and grow the scale of the companies’ business across visual effects, 3D conversion, animation and production services.

Lee has over thirty years of experience in the entertainment business. As President of the Film Division at Rhythm and Hues Studios (R&H), he was instrumental in building the company into one of the world’s foremost VFX and character animation studios, overseeing R&H’s Academy Award® winning work on movies such as Life of Pi and The Golden Compass, and the Academy Award® nominated The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

His career in the entertainment industry began in 1987 at Apogee Productions with noted VFX Supervisor John Dykstra, and he also worked for many years alongside director Bruce Dorn at his commercial production facility in Hollywood. After a successful period as a freelance VFX producer on shows such as Batman Forever and Titanic he joined 20th Century Fox owned Blue Sky | VIFX as VP, Production. With the merger of VIFX and R&H in 1999 he became R&H Films Executive Producer.
