Prime Focus offers integrated Restoration teams in Los Angeles, London and Goa, utilising the 'Global Digital Pipeline™' to share work, provide capacity and turnaround efficiencies and to ensure cost effective solutions. The Restoration teams offer Standard Definition to 4k restoration of everything from old nitrate source to recently shot film and a full range of audio restoration services.

The Prime Focus Restoration team in the UK has an enviable history of serving some of the largest film and television archives in the world over a twenty year period. Over the years, this team has won many awards for their groundbreaking work in this field, including the 2009 Focal International Award for its work on the Kinora reels dating from 1911 for the R&A.

The global Restoration division offers the latest in video restoration from the highly acclaimed Archangel and MTI systems to the Teranex restoration and conversion tool. Through a combination of these systems, Prime Focus can provide an unprecedented level of real-time and non-linear film restoration tools, enabling detection, classification and replacement of visual defects with stunning results. This results in faster image restoration with fewer artefacts.

Sound restoration is also offered through the MTI audio pitch correction and resampling and the Sadie 5 with Cedar which provides a range of audio improvement tools from de-hiss and de-crackle through to more advanced restoration features.
