Bhaarath Sundar has been with Prime Focus since January 2005, Bhaarath brings 23 years of rich experience in the entertainment industry. He has been instrumental in setting up the state-of-the-art advertising facility "Prime Focus Plus" along with setting up Film Post, VFX & DI Facilities at Chennai and Hyderabad and a Digital Restoration facility in Goa. As CEO of the Film VFX division in India and heading the South Indian film post production business' ( Chennai, Hyderabad), he is responsible for converting opportunities into business and providing a strong leadership and direction to his team of professionals.
Prior to joining Prime Focus, Bhaarath worked with Famous Studios Limited as CEO. Bhaarath began his career with UTV in the finance department and went on to become Executive Producer in a period of only 5 years. During his tenure of 17 years at UTV, he was instrumental in successfully setting up and heading "United Studios Limited (USL) a div of UTV as CEO.
Bhaarath holds a Bachelors Degree in Commerce and a Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication from Mumbai University.
